In the Chané culture they are used only in the Ceremonia del Arete. They consider that being a party attended by the living and the dead, they prevent people from being harmed by a deceased relative who, out of longing, tries to kidnap the soul of one of the loved ones. To this precautionary intention is added the playful nature of preventing the participants from being discovered in their true personality.
Being a handcrafted product, it can vary in size, shapes and colors, but always respecting the quality it is presented and the usefulness for which it was designed.
