The province of Misiones is located in the northeast of Argentina. It limits to the west with Paraguay, from which it is separated by the Paran\u00e1 river, to the east, north and south with Brazil, through the Iguaz\u00fa, San Antonio and Pepir\u00ed Guaz\u00fa rivers, in addition to some 20km of dry border and to the southwest with the Province of Corrientes through the Itaemb\u00e9 and Chimiray streams along with a 30 km section of dry border.<\/p>\n
The province is divided into 75 municipalities grouped into 17 departments, the municipalities occupying the entire provincial territory.<\/p>\n
